General Notes: For more information regarding the purpose of the Act and councils obligations – see DM doc#2375551 The intention of this layer was to supply the Resource Information Group with a defined area for each application on WRCs internal mapping tool Smartmaps so councils obligations could be met under The Act. When the applications are granted this layer will remain as a complete record of all applications,(granted or not), and another layer will be created from LINZ supplied information. Shape files of the polygons only (see ‘Attributes’ section), can be obtained from Harley Spence at OTS when new applications are made. Used by WRC Resource Use Group staff to ascertain whether new consents fall within the ‘Application’ boundaries.
Other Information: Data quality is dependent on the supply from OTS.
