Extent of Data: Lower and mid harbour area including main channels and intertidal areas. Offshore extent from Tairua beach (north) to Pauanui Hill (south) out to 30-40m depth offshore. Estimated depth accuracy: Unknown. Projection and datums (horizontal and vertical): UTM & WGS84 (multibeam) and NZTM (singlebeam), both are Moturiki VD Other Information: Data the result of a contract for services with the surveyor/supplier (University of Waikato). Contract RIG 32 (DM#1489501). Cannot find a survey report detailing metadata or estimated accuracy etc. Survey Equipment: Single beam echo sounder inside the harbour and multibeam echo sounder offshore and in main harbour channel. WRC, at its discretion, may charge for access to or extraction of this data at a Technical Officer rate of $140 per hour plus GST.
