For data aquisition Visits are made primarily by an external geothermal consultant (Ashley Cody). Waikato Regional Council's staff undertakes photographic monitoring of all sites visited for physical measurements as well as surface features in the Mokai geothermal system. A temperature data logger is operated to determine natural activity and variability. This data has on going monitoring. Data quality is undetermined. Data form is in Reports and photographs. Photographic negatives are files in the Photo’s database.
