Abstract: This layer is now obsolete and has been replaced by ENVIRONMENTAL_MONITORING.sdeadmin.MONITORING_LOCATIONS. This layer reflects the content of the LOCATED Application, which catalogues the locations in the Waikato region where Waikato Regional Council holds environmental data/information electronically.
Statement: Data Acquisition Method(s): In association with the collection of environmental data. LOCATED_QA is a "preview" of all Located data entered via LOCATED. Similar to the AUTH_RUG_QA layer, this layer gets relevant spatial data direct from PLACES, rather than wait up to 2 hours for the full views processes to run in oracle
Other Information: Positional accuracy is mostly to scales of 1:50000 but some locations have been ‘fixed’ using techniques of greater accuracy. The LOCATED Application holds metadata about the positional accuracy all gauging locations. Geographic Extent: Waikato Region WRC maintains this data via the LOCATED application. Positional accuracy is mostly to scales of 1:50000 but some locations have been ‘fixed’ using techniques of greater accuracy. The LOCATED Application holds metadata about the positional accuracy all gauging locations. Period and Frequency of Record: Ongoing data collection. Layer updated in real time. Data Quality: Geographical location map references are accurate to  50 m (1:50000 scale) unless otherwise indicated by the LOCATED Application.
