| Abstract: |
Information on assets associated with soil conservation works on schemes and individual properties. The information is used primarily for the management and maintenance of the works. |

| Statement: |
Areas and lines are digitized off corporate ortho-rectified aerial photographs that represent Soil Conservation Assets. Data correct as at initial corporatisation August 2007 and is to be updated periodically as new works are completed. Although some of the fence lines and compartments have been captured using GPS units most have been heads up digitised from annotated aerial photographs prepared by Land Management Officers, as part of the process to claim Soil Conservation funding contribution. Attributes (except for Geometry and DMO) are sourced by joining to Conquest Tables on asset ID.
Attributes of the spatial data has been checked against the Asset Management Database Conquest to ensure that each Soil Conservation asset of compartment or fence type is represented in both datasets. Attributes (except for Geometry) are sourced by joining to Conquest Tables on asset ID.
Soil Conservation works are continuing across the region so the dataset is only as up to date as the information provided by Land Management Officers and Land Owners.

Although some of the fence lines and compartments have been captured using GPS units most have been heads up digitised from annotated aerial photographs prepared by Land Management Officers, as part of the process to claim Soil Conservation funding contribution. Attributes (except for Geometry and DMO) are sourced by joining to Conquest Tables on asset ID.
Attributes of the spatial data has been checked against the Asset Management Database Conquest to ensure that each Soil Conservation asset of compartment or fence type is represented in both datasets. Attributes (except for Geometry) are sourced by joining to Conquest Tables on asset ID.
Soil Conservation works are continuing across the region so the dataset is only as up to date as the information provided by Land Management Officers and Land Owners.
