Abstract: Supplementary GIS data to the “River Styles Assessment of the Waipā River Catchment, Waikato, New Zealand” Technical Report prepared for Waikato Regional Council. It delineates the identified River Styles within the Waipā River Catchment, and also displays several accompanying characteristics.
Statement: The Ministry for Environment [MfE] (2016) “River Flows” dataset was used to create the stream network extent. Interpretation of satellite-image basemaps on ESRI ArcMap 10.7 and Google Earth were used for preliminary desktop analysis of River Styles. Several field visits were carried out from May to October in 2018 to help verify initial desktop analysis. A final field visit for verification was carried out during February 2020.

This data builds on prior field work and desktop analysis performed by Marson (2019) and Wheeler (2019).
